The extra cars are obviously not a glitch as they have their own unique descriptions and attributes but there seems to be no knowledge of how to acquire or even encounter any of these cars without the Gameshark code. 114,581 in Video Games ( See Top 100 in Video Games) 186 in Sega Dreamcast Games. There is one more hidden car that is shown as it is supposed to look, the 100MV. Interestingly enough, the license plate displays the "GTO" logo that Mitsubishi used for the car in real life, even though the normally obtainable cars are not licensed in the game. The majority of them look like Mitsubishi GTOs (American and European sold Mitsubishi GTOs are called 3000GTs) that appear to float above the ground for no given reason although the description for each car suggests that many are not at all Mitsubishi GTOs and in some cases not even any kind of Mitsubishi car. Using the Gameshark code which enables all cars to be available for purchase from the start of the game causes extra cars to become available that so far have not been found through any other method and there appears to be very little information online about these hidden cars. The game was released in Japan and some parts of North America. The response to this game was poor and was a limited release. The game takes place after the events of previous games. In 2003 Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 is the third game that was developed for PlayStation 2.The game was only released in Japan and North America. In 2001 a port was created for the PlayStation 2 called Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Zero, but with improved graphics and slight differences in gameplay in order to complete the game.I cannot check the game on other devices right now, I also don't have a physical controller. I've tried different emulator options + haptic feedback on/off, in game vibration setting on/off - nothing helped. I've tried different versions of reicast - from 20140620_782 to 20140718_796 and the one that is available on playmarket for the last month or so - the problem still stays. I just want to crash the tablet (and it is my girlfiend‘s).īTW - the tablet is Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 - Qualcomm Snapdragon S (1.5 GHz), RAM 2 GB, Adreno 320 graphics. I believe that you understand how it is when you race with a rival and then suddenly your car's engine stops coz the acceleration button doesn't work, or you hit the wall because the right/left button stops working. sometimes I wait for 1 minute and if the skies are good to me I can race for another 20 minutes without issues :-) In most cases some buttons work while the other freeze e.g - START button works always. The second issue pisses me off much more (sorry) - I use the touchscreen buttons coz I don't have any controller and when I drive a car, the buttons simply stop responding - it happens 5-6 times per 30 minutes in average - rarely I can play the whole hour without this bug - thank you our lord :-), but in most cases they just randomly stop working at any time - it lasts for 5-10 seconds and then they work again - but in most cases they stop working again almost immediately. I believe that most people face this issue with differen games - it's fine coz the emulator is Alpha. 1st is that s0metimes the game just hangs and goes to bios, or just freezes during the race and the only way out is to kill the process - but few last updates of the emulator are much more stable - July 7, 12, 18 - thank you, developers. However, I have some additional issues, that are very irritating and make me really angry. The only thing that I really miss is the map, but I'm already half way through the game, so it's not a problem too. The European (Tokyo Highway Challenge 2) and Japanese (Shutokou Battle 2) version may be slightly different. If you want to go to garage, just press START, then the UP button once, then A - do the same to surrender to your rival. Chances are youll find Xtreme racing through Tokyo to be an experience worthy of being called this years best Dreamcast racing game. 1.0 CONTENTS Introduction Performance list Methods Ranking Ending notes Credits INTRODUCTION This guide is for the US version of Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2. ![]() Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 is quite playable with missing menus.
